Goodbye Feetloaves!

I thought I'd write about something more upbeat than the horribleness that is breastfeeding (kids only seem to want to sleep lately - not breastfeed but they will take a bottle (because they can drink while sleeping)).

My cankles and feetloaves are a thing of the past. I keep staring at my feet in wonder - thank God they are as I remember. Not sure if they are permenantly longer yet - I haven't actually tried to put normal shoes on yet - still in flipflops until I must give them up.

Husband and I also took the kids for a walk at a nearby lake on Thursday - a short drive. We actually ran into one of my mom's friends while walking for a while. The kids slept the whole time. We also ran into a dad with 2 year old twin boys - also born in August. I must know of 3 other sets of twins born the month of August - interesting! [click on each photo for a larger size]

Last night Husband decided to style Penny's hair - into a mohawk.

Hoorah for real feet and ankles!! And for getting out of the house. It seems to me that's a pretty big accomplishment at this stage. The tykes are adorable, as always. I love the mohawk.

Super cute! Can't wait to see them in person. And hooray for the feetloaves going away! Ahh, you almost start to feel half-human again, don't you?

I think you should edit the post to include before and after shots!
