Kiddy Songs

To help with tummy time I was trying to remember favorite childhood songs to sing to the kids. I know "Itsy Bitsy Spider" but not much else has stuck. Sometimes I know just one verse of a song. Case in point was "Baby Bumblebee" - I only knew the "Bringing Home" part of the song. Thank goodness for the interwebs! Here are the rest of the lyrics.

I've been wondering what the rest of the words are, and have been meaning to look them up. Apparently they sing this song at daycare, because Finn has been "singing" it to us, with all kinds of hand motions that I didn't understand. It's all so clear now!

I say sing "Baby Got Back" - a la Rachel and Ross.

If you worked at camp like Monica and I did, you would have a flock of songs to choose from

Oh, make sure you tell me that one. I don't think I'm familiar with it. Some of the classics I've found ourselves singing include:

- I'm a little teapot (just googled it for the second verse)
- Wheels on the Bus
- Old McDonald
- Noble Duke of York
- If You're Happy and You Know it
- Hokey Pokey
- Twinkle Twinkle
- ABC's
- 50 States in alpha order (I learned that song in elementary school and for some reason it stuck).
- Down by the bay

Neve's daddy sings the marines' theme song (of course).
