O Tanenbaum!

Husband procured the tree the weekend of Thanksgiving.  Here is how it looks today:

What can I say?  Too many other things to get done.  Yesterday my friend Julie and I went on a long-planned spa day with lunch before and cocktails after.  The men cared for the kids - Husband said they did pretty well.  His reward for working so hard was that I let him sleep in on Sunday morning and yes, 9 am does count as sleeping in when you have infants in the house. :)

We have candles in the window and that's it. I'm surprised you are going with the tree considering Mom has several. The kids aren't old enough to be disappointed yet!

beautiful tree! I'm all decorated too. The mantel has a village on it all lit up, the tree next to that, all in gold and silver with white lights only, just picked up a tree skirt, made elphie a holiday bed in a box, candles in the window, a lit wreath in one window, and now some lit garland coming down the banister. i love it!!!!!

In my house, 8 am counts as sleeping in! I think you let him have quite a wonderful reward if it was 9 am!

You forgot to mention exactly how totally awesome the spa (and pre-and post-cocktails) were! The tree looks great. Catch you soon, hon! JR
