Big Red Circle

There is a big red circle around March 3, 2009.  My own personal "D-Day"; the day I return to work.  It's coming so quickly and I have so much to do to get ready (yeah, right, as if that is possible).  I'm not mentally prepared to leave the tykes yet.  Whenever I feel impatient with them I try to remind myself to have fun with them and not stress.  Stress, real "working mom" stress that I've only read about and never experienced is only a 6 weeks away.

Where'd you get the onesies?

Your babies are super sweet. I love the oneies. Adorable. I feel for you going back to work, even if you LOVE your job. No way around it, it is tough. I have done it and even though my set up was good, happy with where and with who kids were with, liked my job, my mind was on them. Now that they are teenagers, it is easier but the days of baby/toddler, very hard. Good luck! Organization is everything which I know you know ;)

Did I miss a developmental post? Is Ned pushing himself up in that last pic?

I work a 40-50 hour week. So does my husband (also a lawyer). It's tough, but doable. We don't have a long commute (30 mins. ea. way). But we also do daycare, so you'll be able to get out of the house way easier with your nanny. You can do it! Enjoy your time with them now and think about work when you get there. There's no preparing for it, anyway. Good luck.

You'll do just fine. :) Will it be stressful? Sure. Especially at first before you find your "groove." Will it suck? At times - probably. But it will be all good.

Cute onsies!

btw, there's something for you on my blog :)

Love those onesies! The transition back to work will be stressful, but you'll make it work. I know you can do it.
