Instead let's talk about something fun and filled with chlorine - swim lessons! Baby Dip started 2 weeks ago and I'm happy to report my kids haven't inherited a fear ("respect") that Husband has of water*. I knew they liked the bathtub and was hopeful they would be okay in a larger pool. They loved it!
Waiting For Class to Begin |
Ned thinks it is easy to swim - see someone else drags you! |
Penny thinks about going after the duck |
Ned gives his friend Georgie a kiss |
Daddy will catch you! |
Do you think there is an "n" missing? Neither does Husband. |
Time to dry off |
Special Thanks to Georgie's Mom Julie who took all these photos.
*True Story: I once told Husband I wasn't sure I could marry him because he didn't swim. He never learned but I did make him go snorkeling during our honeymoon in Hawaii.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Aaron grew up not knowing how to swim. I knew someone in college who didn't either but he was from Alaska so that was a legitimate excuse. The kids look like they really enjoy the water and I'm planning to do the same for Cameron when she's old enough.
Glad they're enjoying it! Looks like a blast.
OMG, I can't even handle the cuteness!
awesome pics! Alex can be a swim advisor if you need one. If you guys come down this summer we should all go to our pool together. I especially enjoy the letter arrangement. Alex prefers to swim after letter Zs himself.
Oh too cute! Looks like a lot of fun.
Penny will catch up, I have faith :)
Cuuuuuuuute! They're naturals- like ducks to water :)
ADORABLE!!! Looks like Mommy Esq and Husband had a good time, too. By the way, sometimes with the right expression, Ned looks like you, too, Mommy Esq. :-)
I'm glad to hear your little ones are enjoying swim lessons. My husband and I have been debating whether or not to start our 8 month old girls now or to wait till they're 3. Looking forward to further up-dates.
They're adorable! I love the water pictures! And no, I kept Fiona rear-facing 'til we came here (2 years, 8 months) and now she's forward facing. But imagine if she had arrived here rear-facing! I'd have been laughed out of town.
