Good luck with the adenoids, I hope that pans out into a real solution. One blog I read (flexibleparenting.com), she had her son's adenoids removed a few months back. He was older, more preschool-aged, but had always fought to keep weight on and snored really badly. Apparently having them removed was an enormous improvement on all fronts.
